NICEPHORUS I AND STAURACIUS, (802-811), AE follis, (4.87 g), struck at Constantinople mint, obv. facing busts of Nicephorus and Stauracius each wearing crown and chlamys with cross between heads, rev. M, X/X/X to left, N/N/N to right, A under M, (S.1607, DOC 5, BMC 12-14); Michael II and Theophilus, (821-829), AE follis, (4.99 g), struck at Syracuse mint, obv. crowned half length busts of Michael II and Theophilus, wearing loros, traces of legend around, rev. large M cross above, **[Q]* below, (S.1652, DOC 21, BMC 20-27) (illustrated); Basil I the Macedonian associated with Leo VI and Constantine, (A.D. 867-886), folles, Constantinople mint, issued 868-879, obv. facing busts of three emperors, legend around, rev. five line legend, naming the three rulers, (S.1712, DOW 11, BMC 21-23). Fine - very fine, all scarce. (3)
