Together with dog tag made of sterling silver with number rank, name and religion on one side and on the other, 'Mother/Mrs S.A.Williams/73 Liverpool Rd/Summer Hill. N.S.W.'; small religious medal; Returned from Active Service badge (KC) numbered on reverse, 180074.
Ernest Mortley Williams, station hand, age 23, born at Leichhardt, Sydney, NSW; Enl.02Nov1915 at Holdsworthy, NSW; Emb.03Jun1916 with 13 Reinforcements to 18Bn, to be E.D.P. Sgt for voyage only; to Pte 07Aug1916, to E.D.P. Sgt 09Aug1916; reverted to A/Cpl for neglect of duty as Sgt of Guard; to France 02Nov1916; to 18Bn 18Nov1916; to UK for non military employment 27Mar1919 - to study of horses at College of Agriculture, Aberdeen, Scotland; RTA 22Sep1919; Disch.16Jan1920 Medically Unfit; Died 1950.
