TRIO: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; War Medal 1939-45. 3200 L.Sgt. D.Terry 7-Lond.R. on first two medals, N65798 D.Terry on last medal. All medals impressed. Mounted as worn, last two ribbons damaged, very fine - good very fine.
Daniel Terry, age 19, born at Lambeth, England to a Jewish family that had come to England from Russia (real family name was Tetruzanski); Enl.19Nov1914 in 7th (City of London) Bn London Regt 'The Shiney Seventh'; WIA, on roll of individuals entitled to War Badge (listing page included); Disch.22Feb1918; Emigrated to Australia and became Postmaster at Bimbi, NSW; WWII: Enl.01Nov1939 at Paddington, Sydney, NSW in CMF; Disch.20Nov1940 as Cpl ex Aust Army Pay Corps; listed in book titled, 'Jewry Book of Honour'; Died 1978.
