MACEDON, Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.334 grams), Pella III mint, issued c. 323/2-315 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, dotted border, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to right, wreath below, and **P.* below right, above **FILIP POU*, (cf.S.6683, Le Rider 512 [p.65, D272/R422 dies, Pl.21]). Attractive round, cut on reverse, extremely fine and very rare.
