FRANCE, Birth of Duke of Bordeaux - Chateaubriand, 1820, in bronze (37.5mm), by Gayrard, obverse, Duchess of Berry on a couch holding her newborn son and with her late husband's bust on a column at right, reverse, St Michael defeating the devil; G.H.Riquetti de Mirabeau, 1822, in bronze (41mm), by E.Gatteaux, obverse, Riquetti de Mirabeau bust to right, reverse, 8-lines of text, from the Great Men of France Series; Bicentenary of Napoleon, 1769-1969, in bronze (61mm), by K.Zeman/J.Locker, obverse, head of Napoleon wearing his 'Little Hat' right, reverse, symbolic images to commemorate Napoleon's great victory at the Battle of Austerlitz (the Battle of Three Emperors) in 1805 where he defeated the Russian and Austrian Armies during the Napoleonic Wars. The first with edge nicks, otherwise very fine - extremely fine. (3)
