SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Emesa mint, issued A.D. 194, (3.372 grams), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around IMP CAE L SEP SE[V PERT AVG] COS II, rev. around B[ONA] SPES, Spes advancing left, holding flower and lifting skirt, (S.6266, RIC 364, RSC 58). Toned, small flan, good very fine and very scarce.
