FRANCE, Chartres, Appointment of Superiors of Schools, 1887, in silver (68mm; 4.8oz), obverse, Science seated left holding laurel wreath in each hand, reverse, 13-lines of text naming superiors; St Joseph Commercial School award medal, undated (1899), by Alp. Desaide, obverse, globe, instruments and various leaf sprays, reverse, wreath, engraved around, 'Ecole Commerciale St Joseph 1899', in centre inscribed, 'R.Le Roux'. Heavily toned with hairlines visible, some very minor edge nicks, otherwise extremely fine; in case of issue, good extremely fine. (2)
