OTHO, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued Jan-Feb 69, Rome mint, (3.19 g), obv. bare head to right of Otho, around IMP M OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, rev. Securitas standing to left, holding wreath and sceptre, around SECURITAS P R, (S.2162, BMC 17, RIC 8, RSC 17). Attractive old cabinet toning, nearly very fine, very rare with a strong portrait.
