CRISPUS, (Caesar A.D. 317-326), AE follis, issued 324-5 as Caesar, Trier mint, (3.12 g), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust to left of Crispus, around FL IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES, rev. camp gate two turrets, six stone layers, star above, around PROVIDEN TIAE CAESS, PLON in exergue, (S.16793, RIC 462). Deeply toned, as struck with a superb portrait.

Ex RJM Collection and Classical Numismatic Group with ticket indicating that this piece is from the Durrington II hoard c.1994.
