ITALY, Tuscany, Ferdinand di Medici (1587-1609), Pisa mint, silver tallero, 1595, (28.38 g), obv. radiate crowned and cuirassed half figure right, holding sceptre, around .FERDINANDVS. MED. MAG. ETR. DVX. III. 1595, rev. around .PISA.IN. VETVSTAE. MAIESTATIS. MEMORIAM, Medici arms, shield supported on crowned Maltese cross, (D.8392). Natural edge flaw with old file marks and slight flaking on reverse otherwise good very fine and rare.
