FAUSTUS CORNELIUS SULLA, (c.56 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.41 g), obv. Diana diademed draped bust to right, crescent above, lituus behind, FAV[STVS] to right rev. Sulla seated to left, Bocchus king of Maurentania kneels before, Jugurtha, king of Numidia kneels behind, above on right FELIX, (S.383, Cr.426/1, Syd.879, B.Cornelia 59). Lightly toned, bankers marks and a few scratches, otherwise good fine and very rare.
