LOLLIUS PALICANUS, (45 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint (3.65 g), obv. head of Honour to right, HONORIS behind, rev. PALIKANVS above curule chair, between two ears of corn, (S.465, Cr473/1, Syd.960, B.Lollia 1). Off centre on the reverse, weak in places, bankers' and surface marks, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.

Ex Dr. V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 109 (lot 3747) and B.A. Seaby, London, c1958.
Less than 30 obverse dies used on this type according to Crawford.
