MARK ANTONY, (39 B.C.), silver denarius, travelling mint with Octavian, (3.44 g), obv. Head of Mark Antony to right ANTONIVS IMP, rev. Winged caduceus CAESAR IMP, (S.1574, C.529/3, BMC Gaul 94, RSC Mark Antony 5 [p.121]). Nearly fine and rare.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3656) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
This issue is regarded as marking the reconciliation between Octavian and Mark Antony which took place at Brundisium late in 40 B.C.
