NERO, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, issued c.60-61, Lugdunum mint, (3.33 g), obv. bare head to right of Nero, around NERO CAESAR AVG IMP, rev. around PONTIF MAX TR P VII COS IIII P P, oak-wreath encircling EX SC, (S.1936, RIC 22, BMC 24, RSC 216). Large flan crack, otherwise nearly fine and rare.
