VITELLIUS, (Late April - Dec 20, 69 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (2.92 g), obv. laureate head of Vitellius to right around A VITELLIVS GERM [IMP AVG TR] P, rev. LIBERTAS [RESTITVT]A, Libertas, draped and standing facing, head to right holding pileus, and in left hand a long rod, (S.2185, RSC 47, BMC 31, RIC 105); Vespasian, (75 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.11 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right around IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG outwards, rev. PON MAX TR P COS VI, Pax seated to left holding branch, (S,2301, RSC 366, BMC 161, RIC 90). Very good - nearly fine. (2)

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3699) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
