VESPASIAN, (71 A.D.), silver denarius, Asia Minor (Ephesus) Mint, (2.81 g), obv. Laureate head of Vespasian to right around [IMP CAE]SAR VESPAS AVG COS III TR P P P, rev. AVG E PHE(ligated), all in wreath, (S.2265, RSC 40, BMC 451, RIC 328). Toned, slightly off centred, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3702) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
