DOMITIAN, issued as Caesar under Titus, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 80, (3.42 g), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around CAESAR DIVI F DOMITIANVS COS VII, rev. around PRINCEPS IVVENTVTIS, garlanded and lighted altar, (S.2676, RIC T46, RSC 397). Extremely fine.

The Reka Devnia hoard of 81,044 silver coins contained 632 coins of Domitian, with 48 coins of this variety.
