DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), AE sestertius, Secular Games issue struck at Rome in A.D.88, (23.54 g), obv. IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM PM TR P VIII CENS PERP P, head laureate to right, rev. COS XIII LVD SAEC, Domitian seated left on platform inscribed SVF P D, extending hand to citizen standing right, extending hand to Domitian, between them, child standing right, raising hands, temple in background, (S.2764, RIC 609). Dark brown patina, some surface roughness and flan flaw, otherwise very fine or better and scarce.
