DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 90-91, (9.98 g), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM COS XV CENS [PER P P], rev. around MONETA [AVGV]STI, Moneta standing to left, holding scales and cornucopiae, S C across field, (S.2807, RIC 395, cf.C.332). Attractive dark brown patina, nearly extremely fine, slightly porous surface and off centred reverse, very scarce in this condition.
