ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 148-149, (2.98 g), obv. around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XII, laureate head to right, rev. around COS IIII, Felicitas standing left holding long caduceus and cornucopia, (S.4071, RIC 178, RSC 252, BMC 664). Attractively toned, mild surface pitting, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
