ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (27.46 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 139, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, rev. Fides standing facing, head right, holding grain ears and basket of fruit, around TR POT COS II, SC in field, (cf.S.4238, RIC 546, C.856). Dark brown patina, very fine and scarce.
