MACRINUS, (217-218 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (2.87 g), obv. Laureate bust right of Macrinus cuirassed, IMP C M OPEL SEV MACRINVS AVG around, rev. FELICITAS TEMPORVM around, Felicitas, standing to half left, head to left, holding caduceus and cornucopiae, (S.7331, RIC 62, BMC 9, RSC 19a). Very fine, toned, scarce.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3815) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
