JULIA MAMAEA, mother of Severus Alexander, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 222, (2.39 g), obv. draped bust to right, IVLIA MAMAEA AVG, rev. IVNO CONS E RVATRIX, Juno standing half left, holding patera and sceptre, at feet a peacock, (S.8212, RIC 343, RSC 35). Bright, good very fine.
