ORBIANA, wife of Severus Alexander, (married A.D.225), silver denarius, issue struck at Rome c.225 A.D, (3.29 g), obv. SALL BARBIA ORBIANA AVG around, diademed bust draped to right, rev. around CONCORDIA AVGG, Concordia seated to left, holding patera and double cornucopiae, (S.8191, RIC 319, RSC 1). Toned, unevenly on the reverse, otherwise very fine or better and scarce.

Ex Dr. V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 106 (lot 3554).
