ORBIANA, wife of Severus Alexander, (married A.D.225), silver denarius, issue struck at Rome c.225 A.D, (2.59 g), obv. SALL BARBIA ORBIANA AVG around, diademed bust draped to right, rev. around CONCORDIA AVGG, Concordia seated to left, holding patera and double cornucopiae, (S.8191, RIC 319, RSC 1). Toned, nearly very fine and scarce.

Ex Dr. V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from M.R.Roberts retail sale in packet described and from the Ron Hansen Collection.
