M IVL PHILIPPVS CAES, bare headed draped bust to right of Philip, rev. PRINCIPI IVVENT, Philip II standing right holding globe and spear, SC across field, (S.9250, RIC 255a, C.55); Diva Paulina, issued by Maximinus to honour her, (A.D. 236), AE sestertius, Rome mint, (20.62 g), issued 236, obv. DIVA PAVLINA, veiled and draped bust of Paulina to right, rev. CONSECRATIO around, peacock flying to right bearing on its back a seated figure of Paulina to left, holding sceptre, S C below (S.9250, RIC 3). Toned, very good - very fine. (3)
