HERENNIA ETRUSCILLA, wife of Trajan Decius, (251 A.D.), silver antoninianus, Antioch Mint, (4.12 g), obv. Diademed bust draped to right, of Herennia Etruscilla resting on a crescent, HER ETRVSCILLA AVG around, rev. PANNONIAE around, Pannonia veiled standing facing turned to half left, looking right holding standard holding helmet in left hand partly raised, (S.-, RIC -, C -). Very fine, apparently unpublished and extremely rare as such.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3882) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
This issue is unpublished and is a Mule between an obverse of Herennia Etruscilla and either Herennius Etruscus or Hostilian both issuing coins in 251 A.D. with this reverse (RIC 158 & 195). The issue was struck at the Antioch mint.
