POSTUMUS, (266-267 A.D.), silver antoninianus, obv. Radiate head of Postumus I draped to right, IMP C POSTVMVS P F AVG around, rev. MERCVRIO FELICI around, Mercury half naked , standing facing head to right, holding purse and caduceus, (S.10960, RIC 313, C.192, Officina A). Toned, extremely fine and rare as such.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3919) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
