VETRANIO, (350 A.D.), AE 25 (centenionalis), Siscia Mint, (5.04 g), obv. Around D N VETRA NIO P F AVG, laureate bust right, of Vetranio, draped and cuirassed, in field to left A; rev. HOC SIG NO VICTOR ERIS around, in exergue . A S I S *, in field to left A, Emperor diademed, bare headed and in military dress, standing facing, head to left, holding standard with Chi-Rho on the banner and a spear. To the right stands Victory, crowning him with a wreath and holding a palm branch, (S.18905, RIC 283). Good very fine, very scarce.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 3988) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
