VALENTINIAN I, (364-367 A.D.), silver argenteus, Constantinople Mint, (3.15 g), obv. Rosette -diademed draped and cuirassed bust of Valentinian to right, around D N VALENTINI ANVS PF AVG, rev. VOT/ V, within wreath, dot in medallion at top of wreath, in exergue CONSD, (S.19359, RIC 11a.3, C.69-c). Toned, about extremely fine, rare.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 4000) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
