VALENS, (367-375 A.D.), silver siliqua, Antioch Mint, (2.09 g), obv. Pearl -diademed draped and cuirassed bust of Valens to right, around D N VALENS PER F AVG, rev. VOT/ X/ MVLT/ XX, within wreath, dot in medallion at top of wreath, in exergue .ANT*, (S.19699, RIC 34d.3, C.96-r). Toned, an unpublished obverse legend variant, good very fine.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 4002) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
