GRATIAN, (375-378 A.D.), silver siliqua, Siscia Mint, (1.37 g), obv. Pearl -diademed draped and cuirassed bust of Gratian to right, around D N GRATIA NVS PF AVG, rev. VOT/ XV/ MVLT/ XX, within wreath, star in medallion at top of wreath, in exergue SISCPS, (S.19985, RIC 19b.2, C.72-d). Toned, very fine, scarce.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 4003) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
