ANASTASIUS I, (A.D. 491-518), AE follis, Constantinople mint, (10.47 g), obv. diademed draped bust to right, around DN ANASTASIVS PP AVG, rev. M over mintmark, CON, Officina A, stars either side cross above, (S.16, DOC 20a). Dark green patina, very fine and rare.

Ex RJM collection and previously Coin Galleries, 1995 with ticket.
