JUSTIN II, with Sophia, (565-578), AE 22, four Pentanummia or half follis, (5.82 g), Cherson mint, struck 570-578, obv. Justin, holding globus cruciger, and Sophia, holding cruciform scepter, standing facing, both wearing nimbus crown around XEP CONOC, rev. Large **D*; to left Justin standing facing, wearing nimbus crown and holding long staff surmounted by staurogram, cross above, (S.610 (under Maurice), DOC 301 (Maurice), MIBE 161b, BMC 290). Green patination nearly very fine with some roughness, rare.
