SINGLES: Victory Medal 1914-19. 12/883 Dvr. L.C.Suggate. N.Z.E.F.; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. N220450 A.C.Peat. Both medals impressed. Two single medals, no ribbons, first medal extremely fine, second medal with some staining, otherwise very fine.
Leonard Chenery Suggate, civil engineer, born 08Jun1887 at Crewe, England, but in New Zealand for about 18 years and educated at King's College, Auckland; Enl.09Oct1914; embarked for Gallipoli; Disch.10Jun1916 Medically Unfit; Died in Australia 03Nov1951.
Arthur Cornelius Peat, Dept Mgr in film business, age 28, born at Redfern, Sydney, NSW; Enl.08Jul1941 at Waverley Park, NSW but classified as unfit for AIF 27Aug1941; TOS of CMF and served with Aust Army Canteen Service; Disch.22Jun1946 Medically Unfit.
