BRITISH WEST INDIES, cut and countermarked issues, St Lucia (1813) silver six livres fifteen sols, a cut centre segment of a Charles IIII South American mint eight reales, 1804 (probably Mexico) countermarked on the obverse with S:Lucie in relief within shaped indent (Pr.9, KM.10.1), upright S compared to sloping S in the punch of Pridmore 9 (cf Climpson Collection, Sale 85B, lot 1850). Dark toned, nearly very fine.
