CLAUDIUS, (A.D. 41-54), silver cistophorus, Ephesus mint, issued 41-42, (10.68 g), obv. bare head of Claudius to left, around TI CLAVD CAES AVG, rev. DIAN EPH either side of tetrastyle temple, containing the Ephesian Diana cult statue of the goddess, (S.1839, RIC 118, RPC 2222, RSC 30). Nearly very fine and scarce.
