SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochos III, (222-187 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.63 g), Sardis mint, issued after 203 B.C., obv. diademed head of Antiochus III to right, rev. Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow, on right **[B]ASILEWS, to left **ANTIOCOU*, (cf.S.6886, SC 995 [same dies as illustrated specimen], Houghton 611 [this coin]). Toned, good very fine, scarce.
