SYRIA, Seleucis & Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem (Antioch), Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (14.80 g), issued 211-212, obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around legend AVT KAI ANT**W*NEINOC CEB, rev. eagle standing facing, head to right, wreath in beak, two stars in upper field to left and right of eagle, around **D*HMAPX E**X UPA TO*C TO**G*, (cf.S.2650, McAlee 673, Prieur 212, Bellinger 12). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine, scarce.
