M COMMODVS ANTON AVG PIVS BRIT, laureate head of Commodus to right, rev. around P M TR P XI IMP VIII COS V PP, S C across flan, Fortuna seated left, holding rudder and cornucopiae, wheel below seat, FOR RED below, (S.5836, BMCRE IV p. 807, C.151, RIC 477, MIR 689). Light green patina, nearly extremely fine and scarce in this condition.
