PUPIENUS, (238 A.D.), silver antoninianus, Rome Mint, (4.45 g), obv. radiate bust to right of Pupienus draped and cuirassed seen from behind, around IMP CAES PVPIEN MAXIMVS AVG, rev. CARITAS MVTVA AVGG around, two clasped hands, (S.8520, RIC 10b, RSC 3, BMC 87). Toned, nearly extremely fine and very rare.
