PROBUS, (A.D. 276-282), billon antoninianus, Ticinum mint (3.69 g), obv. radiate bust left wearing imperial mantle and holding eagle-tipped sceptre, around IMP C PROBVS PF AVG, rev. around PROVIDENT AVG, Providentia standing left, holding globe and sceptre, Q in left field, SXXI in exergue (S.12013, RIC 489, C.481). Toned with silvering, extremely fine and scarce.
