PAIR: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 3602 Pte. H.C.Perkins. 2-Pnr. Bn. A.I.F. Both medals impressed. Display mounted, good very fine.

Together with King's Silver War badge, reverse numbered A80827; dog tag on a Great Britain crown, 1892, obverse shaved smooth and inscribed, 'H.C.Perkins./2nd Pnr Btn./A.I.F./C.C. 3602', pierced hole at top edge for wearing; brass gun mounting plate, a pierced hole at each corner for mounting, impressed, 'SCARFF/PATENT GUN MOUNTING/MAKERS (small 176)/ALLEN & SIMMONDS LTd/ENGINEERS READING'.

Horace Clarence Perkins, farmer, age 25, born at Nhill, Vic; Enl.03Jun1916 at Melbourne, Vic with previous service of 3 months in AIF (23Oct1914-28Jan1915) service no.13881, discharged for refusing vaccination inoculation; Emb.11May1917; to hospital 19Feb1917 with mumps, 22Mar1917 with mumps & conjunctivitis, 01Jul1917 with mumps, 01Oct1918 with pyrexia of uncertain origin, mild; RTA 22Dec1918; Disch.15Mar1919.
