GREAT BRITAIN, 17th (Leicestershire) Regiment of Foot, c1840s, officer's shoulder belt plate in silver and gilt bronze, reverse with leather backing and this with maker's tag, 'Webb & Son, Piccadilly, London'. A few small pin hole size dents, otherwise extremely fine.

The 17th Regiment of foot served in Australia in New South Wales, Tasmania and Queensland 1830-36.
