AUSTRALIA, WWI Camp Pocket Candlestick, A Soldier's Friend, a coloured hinged-lid tin featuring three soldiers at an Army camp site, the centre soldier holding an opened Camp Pocket candlestick tin with candle, on the inside is provision for a candlestick and box of matches. Some paint loss from use, otherwise fine.

This tinned camp pocket candlestick was produced in Australia from 1915 and was available for troops to buy before embarking overseas.
