AUSTRALIA, World War I, tribute fob in gold (15ct, 9.9g, 32x44mm), obverse King's crown above central dome with soldier standing holding rifle across chest, Rising Sun hat badge behind with 'Australia New Zealand Army Corps'on ribbon below, around the bottom, 'He Answered His Country's Call', inscribed on ribbon under crown 'Sap CC Savage' reverse inscribed, 'Presented to/Sap CC Savage/by Residents of/Tangmangaroo & Kangiara/10.12.19'. Nearly uncirculated. $$ Clive Collingwood Savage, grazier, age 38 yrs, born Ashfield NSW; Enl.17Mar1917 Sydney, NSW; served with 1st Field Squadron Engineers; RTA 29Apr1919; Disch.26Jun1919.
