WWII, 'Japan has Surrendered' document featuring three vertical lines of Japanese text printed in black ink on a plain sheet of thick paper (approx 20x33cm), across bottom right corner written in English, 'Japan has/surrendered/Dropped in Wewak/Maprik Sepik/Aitape (?)/Area/16.8.45'. Folds, some small loss of paper at edge, centre hole on folds, otherwise fine and scarce.
