VINTAGE VICTORIAN MINIATURE PORTRAIT IN OIL, under glass in 9ct gold frame (tot wt 46.2g; 62x74mm), bottom edge impressed '9ct WW', with suspension loop, written on reverse, 'Colonel/Edward Miles/38th & 89th Foot/Commander Bath/Gold Medal for Salamanca/& Bar for St Sebastion (sic)/Knight of Portuguese/Tower & Sword/Portrait Circa 1816/Major 21 march 1805'. Extremely fine.
