NEW SOUTH WALES, five shillings or holey dollar, 1813, struck on a Charles III Mexico City Mint eight reales, 1788FM, (Mira-Noble 1788/4, dies B/11: I/8). A well struck holey dollar with good eye appeal, the H clear between laurel leaves in the countermark, glossy gun-metal grey-toned, good very fine and very rare, especially in this condition, one of the finest known.

Ex N.H.C.Lovely, to widow in 1959, then to H.J.Nesbitt Collection (for ?70).
