SCIENCE AND ART DEPARTMENT, (1879), award medal in bronze (38.5mm), by W.Wyon, obverse, bust of Queen Victoria left, reverse, laurel wreath between dotted borders, inside, Awarded By/The Science And/Art Department/For Proficiency/In Science, edge impressed, 'Peter Lauder. Practical Plane & Solid Geometry. 1879.' In official case of issue, a small dig on neck and some light surface spots, otherwise toned uncirculated.
